25 Things

Over at Zazazu, I found the cutest idea and well worth sharing. It’s all about what you can’t live without. By all means go over and check out her list. I guarantee that you will leave her site feeling all warm and fuzzy! Here’s mine which I will update as things occur to me. Might take a while lol… I’m in one of my moods. Might have something to do with the weather??

1. warm afternoons by the pool
2. spending as much time as I want in a bookstore.
3. a good foot massage.
4. eggnog
5. deep dish pizza
6. cosmetics on sale
7. meditation when it works.
8. feeling moments of bliss (not happening today) :(
9. long hot bubble bath… I know that they aren’t good for you, but they sure do feel good
10. high speed internet. I’m on holiday we don’t have it here. Dial up is brutal.
11. after Christmas sales.
12. electric blanket. I’m in Florida and I bought one to take home. Guess what… I used it last night and it felt yummy.
13. page a day calendars. I’m addicted to them and bought two more last night. Can’t beat 50% off
more to come as I think of them :)

Note To Self

No negative thoughts. No negative thoughts… As soon as one appears, push it back down. I wonder just how many of these a person has in a day and why they are so easy to create. Shouldn’t positive thoughts be just as simple??

Pink Playdoh for Stress

You might not believe this, but my daughter bought me a 4 pack of Playdoh as a stocking stuffer. I must have said something about it in the past months, because she made sure that she made a point of telling me that I asked for it. So, this morning I opened it for the first time and broke off a chunk and began “playing” with it. The first thing that she asked was what I was going to make with it and I said… nothing. I simply wanted to be able to press it out to a flat pancake, scrunch it back up and start again. That was all it took to relax me. If you spot some in a store in the coming days, grab it and think of it as your private stress ball. But if you want to build elephants with it lol… I say go for it. Whatever relaxes you!

I told you that one of my New Year’s Resolutions was to play more… and I’m off to a good start.
