*A Little Perfume Can’t Hurt done

Sometimes simply thinking can tire you out! It certainly has that effect on me, so a quick spritz of my favorite perfume spritzed around the room for some reason seems to perk me up! And if I want something more unusual, I fill a spray bottle each morning with a little fresh water and a drop or two of  essential oil. This morning it’s 1 drop of Bergamot and 2 drops Clove oil. When I need a break, I shake the bottle and mist away. Empty the bottle each night and start fresh in the morning.

*Contaminating Perfume Bottles

If you fragrance comes in a bottle without a spray attachment, grab a cotton ball fast. You don’t want to get your fingers anywhere near the opening of the bottle. The oils from your fingers could mix with the fragrance and ruin the scent. Using a cotton ball will prevent this from happening.

*For The Sheer Fun of It

One of the biggest mistakes you can make is to go into an exercise program… just to lose weight. If that weight doesn’t come off as fast as you would like, chances are, you will lose interest and quit. Instead, look at exercise as something to do for the sheer enjoyment of it. Long walks, working out to music and yoga are things I that enjoy. I don’t even think of it as exercise any more. I do it because I enjoy it… plain and simple. Now go out and find something that gets you moving and is fun.

And don’t stop at just one program. There are probably dozens that will appeal to you… if you give them a try.

Fashion today…

“Today, fashion is really about sensuality—how a woman feels on the inside. In the ’80s women used suits with exaggerated shoulders and waists to make a strong impression. Women are now more comfortable with themselves and their bodies—they no longer feel the need to hide behind their clothes.”

How To Buy a Bike

With the nice weather looming, many of us are also looking for new methods of exercise. Taking a bike out for a ride sounds awfully nice right about now. But buying one can be confusing.

1. Look at 100.00 bikes. Get a feel for what they have to offer and how well they are made. Now move onto another store and look at the same price range. You should start noticing similarities. Bikes in this price range might be all you need, but they certainly can’t compare to a $200 and up bike.

2. Ask if it is possible to take the bike out for a test run. That is the only way that you will get a feel for the height, and how the gears work.

3. Any preference in pedals?? Do your homework. A little googling will tell you what to look for and what to avoid. The basic flat style works for most people. The fancier pedals will only cost you more money so keep that in mind as well.

What I’m Thinking About Right Now

Is spring ever going to arrive. I no sooner get the driveway shoveled and we get more snow. And if the snow melts quickly it refreezes into an ice rink. Try shoveling snow on that!! Not in a good mood right now.
