*A Little Perfume Can’t Hurt done
Sometimes simply thinking can tire you out! It certainly has that effect on me, so a quick spritz of my favorite perfume spritzed around the room for some reason seems to perk me up! And if I want something more unusual, I fill a spray bottle each morning with a little fresh water and a drop or two of essential oil. This morning it’s 1 drop of Bergamot and 2 drops Clove oil. When I need a break, I shake the bottle and mist away. Empty the bottle each night and start fresh in the morning.

How To Buy a Bike
With the nice weather looming, many of us are also looking for new methods of exercise. Taking a bike out for a ride sounds awfully nice right about now. But buying one can be confusing.
1. Look at 100.00 bikes. Get a feel for what they have to offer and how well they are made. Now move onto another store and look at the same price range. You should start noticing similarities. Bikes in this price range might be all you need, but they certainly can’t compare to a $200 and up bike.
2. Ask if it is possible to take the bike out for a test run. That is the only way that you will get a feel for the height, and how the gears work.
3. Any preference in pedals?? Do your homework. A little googling will tell you what to look for and what to avoid. The basic flat style works for most people. The fancier pedals will only cost you more money so keep that in mind as well.

Skint??
You just have to buy something but are short on funds… been there and done that. My trick is to find a new pair of earrings that I just love. They can be dirt cheap… I can pretty well wear any kind of earrings and my lobes won’t fall off. I’m lucky that way lol.

Sock Drawer Time
With any luck, you received socks for Christmas, so this is the perfect time to go through you sock drawer and get rid of anything that have holes or is missing a mate. We tend to hold onto hosiery that has long outlived its usefulness so now’s the time to start fresh.
**And if you didn’t receive socks for Christmas and you needed some… who’s fault is that? Make it easy on everyone next year by adding the request to your Christmas list. You receive a fresh supply that will cost you nothing and everyone’s happy!

Tonight’s How-To
I have bit of paper that I have written down little things that I have heard or picked up from some sourse and I thought that I would simply pass it along. Who knows… it just might come in handy some day. We have enough things on any given day to keep ourselves busy… we don’t need any more. So, if you have a vase that could use a lit TLC, here’s what you can do. Take a handful of rice and toss it into the vase. Add some warm soapy water and then give it a few good shakes. Discard the water/rice and the vase should be nice and shiny.
You really don’t need to go out and buy something special!

*The Perfect Makeup Bag
It’s not those pretty cases that you pay a fortune for. It’s a plain plastic bag that you can zip closed. You can see the contents in seconds, which is a bonus for me. After all, who has the time to go rooting around in a bag just to find that the eyeliner pencil you were looking for was in a drawer all along. Give me an inexpensive see through bag any day. Saves me time and money.
